"Johann's tour of Mauthausen was more than what my fiance and I had expected! Johann was informative as we were taught a lot about what took place at Mauthausen and in another camp near by in Gusen. After our tour, Johann showed us around Linz and he found out that I am a concert pianist. He went out of his way to show me the church where Bruckner was the musical director. He took us up to the church to show us the organ and also to the largest church in Linz afterwards. I highly recommend Johann's expertise of Mauthausen. Johann is a very personable, patient, understanding and friendly guide! He always took care of our needs for the day and now not only have we visited an important sight, we have a new friend!" "We would highly recommend Johann as a tourguide for the concentration camp or any other place. He was very personable and obviously had a heart for what had taken place with the Jewish people. He knew his history and gave us a good overall tour. On the way back he recommended a great place for us to stop and eat. It was good food and quick.
